Naglee Park Open Studios is a free art event in Naglee Park, one of the most historic and walkable neighborhoods in downtown San Jose.
Frances Schwab conceived the idea of a neighborhood open studios tour while walking Naglee Park and noticing the many artist's homes in our neighborhood. The free event's goals are to:
- Display and sell local art
- Encourage a sense of community
- Promote our artist friendly Naglee Park neighborhood

Call for Artists
Our 17th Annual Naglee Park Open Studios (NPOS) is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025 and we are looking for artists to participate!
This is not a juried event. All artists who live in Naglee Park are welcome and the event is open to a limited number of artists who do not live in the neighborhood but will exhibit at a home in the neighborhood. Applications will close on August 25, 2025 or sooner if spaces are filled. Open Studios will have a maximum of 25 host homes and 45 artists

Funds for Naglee Park Open Studios are provided through the CCA, artist fees, sponsors, and donations. These funds are used for print materials, event supplies, the Artist Party and the After Party.
